Tranny problems

My car wont go into 1st gear and it goes on the other gears pretty normal. Its like something is blocking the shift knob from going into 1st gear.

Manual or automatic?

If a 6-Speed, sounds like your clutch may be going out. Try shifting into second gear and then quickly into first while holding the clutch disengaged.
