TPMS system error

I just had my brakes done 2 days ago and got this message that the system is bad. My guess is the shop that did my brakes must have tripped something -

Probably not, as sensors are inside the tires.

If they have scanner, they can check which sensor doesn't work. Sensors are battery powered, so they will go bad eventually.
