Torqe Steer Help

So I have this 08 TL Type S. i can never romp the pedal in 1st gear cause the wheels break free and the car has crazy torque steer. This sucker is an auto.

Anyone have any suggestions for suspension adjustments or add on parts to help reduce the wheel spin and/or torque steer.

Tires would be a great place to start. But the TL and Type-S is known for torque steer, it's nearly 300hp and FWD, it's normal.

get better tires. Torque Steer isn't crazy like that unless you got weak tires (Acura does an AWESOME job of hiding it considering the HP they are working with)

not gonna lie, i dont think this car has that much torque steer....i have hankook v12's and i can floor it in 1st gear no problem. it'll have a bit of wheelspin for the first second or two, then it just grips on afterwards. as long as im holding the steering wheel firmly, it'll go straight no problems

These cars have very little true torque steer. Breaking the tires free causing jerking side to side is different. Stop the tires from spinning and you will fix the problem. Get better tires. If you have adjustable shocks, stiffen the rebound setting.

I only get torque steer when I floor it while taking a sharp (or any turn), otherwise if I'm going straight even from a stop I get practically 0 torque steer.

Tires, rebound adjustment and motor mounts are good places to start to combat torque steer.

If you think the auto torque steer is bad...the 6MT is x2 worse because of the LSD

A little torque steer is normal as many members have already stated. The only thing I would add is to check your front axles to make sure the cv-joints are not seized. I had ridiculous torque steer and vibrations and it was being caused by the cv joints. After i replaced both front half-shafts the vibration and torque steer went away.
