Can you please rephrase, I'm having a difficult time figuring out what you're asking.

I have a 06 TL with a 3.2 Block in it a 3.7 crank, rods, pistons. Car stop running while driving just sputtered to a halt would not restart. Pulling it apart now got the camshaft covers off and while I spin the crank by hand the cams and sprockets do not move but the belt looks to be in place also the keyway in the Kranks still in place what else would cause the bottom end to be able to be turned and the top end not spinning?
 thank you for your help

I deleted the thread you posted in the Third Generation TL (2004-2008) > 3G TL Performance Parts & Modifications Forum since you already have this thread and that is not the proper forum for this topic.

I'm guessing the tensioner failed. When you turn the crank does the timing belt move?

So either the tensioner or the timing belt has failed.
