Hi guys,

Im having a bit of an issue with the 07 Type-S.

Today went out, drove to a friend's house and parked it there. Was sitting for maybe an hour, went back outside to start it up and leave when it almost failed to start. It would keep cranking, rpm would up to around 500 ish then slowly and then finally sputteringly rose back up to normal idle at around 800. The car was completely fine after that.

Did some searching around and found the EGR valve, already cleaned that out a couple months ago, didnt find anything.

Anyone have any ideas? It doesnt always happen, both times this has happened it was on an down sloping incline so maybe the car doesnt like hills?

 

Bad fuel pump? Crap in the lines? Same type of gas over the last few months?

Sounds fuel related to me, but it could be spark plugs, EGR, etc.

 

I did switch from US Arco 92 to CAN Chevron 94. Because it was pinging like crazy in the warmer weather this past bit i decided to use 94.

Hasn't reoccured since so im just gonna write it off as a glitch or something
