Ticking issue.
I've looked through the previous threads and haven't noticed anything similar to my problem.
Just recently did a oil change, everything was good in till... I took it to work, and when i was leaving i was parked in between 2 cars. i gave her a little bit of gas in reverse, and i noticed a couple ticks 2 - 3 of them. i went home and parked it in my garage and got next to the wall so i can hear it better.
Now this ticking happens in any gear, if i give the car a little bit of gas it ticks in between 800 - 1,200 RPMs. And only when you give it gas, doesn't make a noise when the RPMs are dropping.
Now also if you raise it to 1k, it will tick and wont make anymore, inless you then press it again to go up to 1,200 it makes 2 or 3 more... If anything it seems as the "pedal creeks" like a door, but its coming from the drive side firewall... Anything above 1,200 RPMs there is no ticking noise at all...
soo stumped :|

Hey Drew,
I have a similar problem and it only clicks when I step on the gas. I read somewhere that the PCV valve makes this noise. I am planning on replacing mine soon and see if that solves the problem. I'll keep you posted.

Appreciate it man, I got used to the noise really. Drove from Utah to michigan and back with no issue really. I'm now experiancing front end wobble*steering wheel* when I get passed 3k RPMS.
