A lady rear-ended me at a light last week. Her insurance, State Farm, considered it totaled and offered $6,300 to tow it away, or $4,900 if I keep it, but I have to change the title to Salvage.
Body shop quoted $4600 to repair. I thought that was steep, I'm going to get another shop quote, don't want to get ripped off. Below are pictures of the damage. (Nothing mechanical, car is completely drivable)
What do you think, what would a reasonable quote be? I also have the Aspec style rear bumper, so that would be an added cost. Is it even worth fixing, I do really love this car. It's an '06. Trunk seems fine, won't latch because body panel was pushed in, of course. Taillights are fine as well.

shop might be able to fix the lip kit, but that rear end will need a considerable amount of work. Any damage to the rear 1/4's on either side? You are lucky they are paying the claim with modded tails!
