Hi all, I just wanted confirmation on the fitment of the aspec front lip kit for the 2008 type s. I ran over s cone recently and the end result is the picture shown. Damage could have definitely been worse, but I need it fixed. I've been looking at around at the salvage yards, and I can only find base models and a crazy yard that wanted 400+tax and shipping.

At that price I figured I can get a new one and have it repainted or get a already painted aspec lip for only a bit more. Considering where the break is, I shouldn't have a problem with fitment correct? If that's true, does that mean type s owners who added the front aspec kit later should have their old piece where mine is broken?

acura sells them in black pre-painted. It's a bit expensive at around $500 but worth it. Can buy it in either white or black only.

 

Is $500 painted for the type s aspec front?
