Thought I was losing power bc I haven't done 105k service. That wasn't it at all...
I've been doing maintenance trying to restore power to my TL.
When I was jacking my car up to replace the struts I noticed my engine floating up and down up and down! The two bolts holding it on the passenger side are broken!!!! I know I have to get Grade A replacement bolts but where and what size do I need. Not only do I need to do that but I need to somehow take those pieces that are stuck way down in the thread.
Anyone have any knowledge, tips or anything that can help me out replacing these bolts?

finding a squeak with the suspension is the HARDEST thing to do.
realize that the suspension is metal and the frame is metal. what happens when metal rubs on metal?
Squeaks!!!!!!
so, unless you can isolate the noise to a VERY specific spot, you're not likely to ever cure it.
even dealers and other car manufactures have a hard time fixing squeaks with suspension.
my friend has a Merc C300. it squeaks. he has taken it to the dealer TONS of times.
but they cant find it.

That's not true. I've been a technician for 6 years and have yet to look for a noise i didn't find. My dealership doesnt allow you to say "i don't know" or "i can't find it"

One of the problems solved but not yet fixed due to weather and exams. Ive been driving my mother's sweet ass Hyundai Elantra
The aftermarket struts had a bit longer bolt on top so it was the ends of my sway bar (is that what you call it?) bouncing on top of my struts. Plan to saw bolts down to proper length and get rubbed caps to put on top and hopefully this will be the proper fix.
BUT...what the hell, I use to get around 360 miles to a tank and now even with all that I did to my car, I am still lucky to only get 280-300 miles out of one tank!!

Is your suspension sound more a "squeak" or a "clunk"? I'd bet a suspension bushing or two is nearing the end of its life. Not uncommon at that mileage!

Sorry, my car part vocabulary is not so good. The rubber parts I mentioned at the top of the struts that is covered by the ends of my sway bar.....are those the bushings you speak of?

I wouldn't know the part number for those - stop by your Acura dealer they should be able to pull them for you.

So it turns out that it was just the rubber bushings! It was a bitch taking the struts on and off on and off! the clunking sound was a defected strut. The thick washer on top of the strut went all the way down the rod instead of resting on the widening section of it. But that damn squeaking came from old rubber bushings. All we did was replace them with a bit of grease.
Ridin smooth without an annoying clunk or squeak!
Thanks everyone!
