Third generation Acura TL-tranny issues

hey peeps, been here for a while but haven't had a chance to post... IS IT SAFE TO PUT A 07 ACURA TL TRANNY ON AN 04 TL? Please let me know... need to get a tranny asap... mine is slipping and now the check engine lite came on!!!!!!

as far as I know there is no way easily get the 07 trans into an 04 TL. Stick with a quality rebuild or a new trans and you should be fine. Have you checked the fluid at all?

07 TL is hit or miss from what I understand. However, you can source a 07 Accord auto transmission and it will work once you swap a wire harness on the trans, the Range switch and trans oil to water cooler. swapping the differential filter is optional.
