hey guys, i don't post that much, just read a lot. I am now an 05 SSM TL owner for the past 5 months and haven't had any issues that really annoy me since my last car was a rattling 350z.

i do have the window rattle though and i know its because of the trim around the window.

What i noticed and i'm not sure if you guys have this, is the following:

1. when i lower the window about 2 inches, i press on the window and it lowers more about an half inch.

now when i do that it seems that the window is firmly pressed against the modulator and motor.

i then do the auto up and it secures into place. No more sounds either.

I know its temporary, but it seems to me that the motor and modulator don't catch the window as tight as it should when the window is half down.

just my two cents, if any one else gives it a try, please tell me your results.

Will you still have the rattle when closing the door with the windows down???

 

naw, its just when the window is closed, been working for me now.
