Teins are squeaking

Has anyone had a problem with their Tein suspension squeaking? I had the coilovers installed on my 3G last year around July.. didn't really start noticin' the noise until it got cold. sounds like a small squeak whenever I go over anything. I tried to search out any threads that could solve this mystery for me but was unable to find an answer. There was one thread but i dont' think it applies to me. Is there something that I should check? suspension experts chime in please. Thanks!

Grease them? Um... i don't think so... but where would i put this grease? I guess it doesn't really bother me, I just wanna know if it's normal or if it's detrimental in anyway to let it continue squeaking. I suspected it was the cold, cuz it's been pretty damned cold around coldest I can remember (SF Bay Area).

Yes but the suspension is totally different on the RSX compared to the TL. The TL uses honda's famous double wishbone setup where the RSX is a Mcpherson strut setup. The TL doesn't suffer the same problems as the RSX.

You may be getting the noise from the spring and perch. Wrap the lower coil of the spring in a coil style wire loom. You can get it at Radio Shack and it should quiet down the coilovers a great deal. The only other noise you might experiece is the pillowball setup which is known to be noisy due to metal on metal or the shock doing it's job. Sometimes the shocks are just noisy themselves.

Thank you JDM... that's the answer I was kinda hoping to hear... I didn't want to hear that there was something wrong with my coilovers or the installation. But I'll check it out.
