I just got a tear in the front seats of my 05 TL my seats are perforated and if i use a leather repair kit I'm afraid it will be really obvious. Can anyone help?

 

Just find a local auto upholstery shop and have them replace the damaged area.

My drivers side seat bottom was torn in a few spots and took it to a local auto upholstery shop who replaced the seat bottom for $150. It looks identical to passenger seat. He also rebuilt the foam up on the sides and bottom. It turned out excellent.

The oem seat bottom covers are insanely expensive btw.

I found leatherseats.com and bought a full kit, customized my colors and just had a local shop install.Not a shill for the site, just needed the seats replaced.
Also did the center console and door arm rests in dark red.
They sent me a set of samples and I have to say, their colors matched very well.
