Take a look and tell me wehat the HELL happen!!!

So guys I just bought my TL I noticed that when I first started it up it would idle really ruff until it got warmed up. I have 67XXX miles on her and I was beginning to do regular maintenance when I went to change the spark plugs I was taking the igniter off of each one and they were all fine UNTIL I pulled this one out!!!

I was just shocked it seemed as water or some shyt got into it. Im not sure but the spark plug seemed fine. Any thoughts comments and if anybody can please post picks for me I don't know how

Holy hell

I honestly don't know what to say.

Have you considered taking it back to the place you bought it from and be like what the hell?

I still got a rejection sticker on it and they tried to fuck me and say they were going to put one on the car for free to get me out of there hair. "I ant going down without a fight Bitches"

Where are you from, because a third brake light out is not a failure in the State of New Jersey as I'm licensed to do inspections for NJ. You've probably already thought of this, but carfax the car to make sure its not a flood car. First thing that came to mind when I saw that ignitor was water.

Shit I didn't think about that. It's very possible that it could be a flood vehicle, but I really hope it isn't.

Did you get a Carfax or anything like that when you bought the car? You should hop on that ASAP if you didn't.

Yeah I got the carfax I just think something happen to this ignited somehow but I wish I knew what. Yeah regardless the dealership was a Dodge one of them that is closing but I ant going down I tell you that much. They said its working were going to put a sticker on it now I told them No I want my mechanic to put it on. Once they got in the car they acted different when they saw the cuffs and the Motorola Radio in the TL. They told me "well we will take care of you as far as we can really"

Yea -- go back to the dealer and ask for the carfa report, or even sometimes they are folks on here that an umlimited subscription to VIN reports...maybe find one of them and provide the VIN and they can get you some info.

Two lights must be working, but if the third light is out it will be noted in an Inspection Advisory and should be fixed within 60 days, but you will not receive a rejection.

You do know that the ULEV system causes intentional misfires when cold to warm the cats up quickly? Our cars idle rough when cold intentionally.

Now, that doesn't mean that something else is also causing it to idle rough, but if it smooths out after it's warmed up, it's probably totally normal.

how about this... someone did very extensive cleaning of engine bay using water under pressure... and it got there, made corrosion and that's what you got... I saw this things before on some different cars...

I've encountered something similar.. it was on my Tundra and was due to the previous owner removing and not replacing a gasket that fit between the coil & head cover (outside).. and poof.. although I will say that yours looks about 2-4x worsts.. Also, there must have been some wear on the plug thread, no?.. I'd change out the head cover gaskets and get a new coil.

#5 on the list is probably your culprit.

No, I didn't. Thanks for the tip.

As for the part, could it be that it was a replacement, and it was the first one they grabbed that worked? I'd be concerned if it was more than one, but just that one?

that is a case of oil leaking in the spark plug tubes due to the fact the rubber spark plug seal get worn and allow oil to flow in.

These car do misfire while warming up to heat up the cat faster. Unless you pulled that out and saw a lot of oil everywhere I wouldn't stress it.
