Just noticed this earlier tonight. Car has been off and if I lock or unlock it goes away for 15 seconds and then comes back. Is it just the LED board gone bad?
That is where I would start.....but......how is it even getting power? Neither circuit that feeds that board should be energized with parking lights and brake lights off.
Sure looks like it there's a few LED boards on the black market!

I'm going to try and connect my other taillight to it and see if the same thing happens. Hopefully not so it's not anything worse than the LED board.. that board has 2 bulbs out in the corner as well so it needs replacing soon anyways. I'll keep it posted. Thank you
