Switchback (turn signals) problems

I put led switch backs for my front turn signals whitch are 1157 and I put a 50w resistor in and it works for a little and then the switch backs will shut off and on. idk if the resistor is not powerful enough or I need to get a smaller resistor??

the wattage of the resistor usually doesn't matter.. it's more so the ohm's.

Also what brand are the switch backs? They could themselves be bad.

Have you tried troubleshooting by bypassing the resistor (aka not use them) It'll hyperblink but it can rule out if the bulb is bad.

Have you considered this instead of load resistors? I've done it for myself and a few other members and it works great.

If you want, i can do it for you as well

I'm using the DIY method listed above and it's clean and away from the elements. Highly recommended.
