Surge?

I actually searched first and found a few threads about fuel surge or whatever. Everyone talked about it happening while driving. Mine has been doing it while stopped. I have a brand new battery and the car cranks fine. Surges with AC on or off... This is a video I took today of it...

after you got the battery put in did you do the idle relearn procedure? If not it could be the cause of it!

I havent heard of that... but its not just when stopped. That video was taken while in gear and sitting at a traffic light. It also does the surging while driving.

that's when it will especially do it! Turn off all the accessories like the A/C and radio and stuff and let the car idle for 10 minutes (the cooling fans should cycle on and off twice).

at cold start or after warm up or what?

By the way. The scan read a 3% jump on TPS% and Rel TPS% while surging. TPS% reads from 15.2 (no throttle)-78.8 (WOT), and the Rel TPS% reads from 5.0% (closed) to 92.5%(WOT)... Its not even able to hit a full 100% WOT and most cars atleast reach 98%
All other reading were normal during surge.

^^^ disconnect the battery for 15-20 minutes...doesnt matter warm or cold engine (i prefer doing this on a cold engine thow)

start the car and leave it for 10 minutes....do not touch the gas pedal, before you disconnect the battery make sure your AC is OFF, turn your headlights/music/etc off....

do you have a scan tool? can you check the afr/timing/manifold pressure and fuel pressure?

if i had to guess its as simple as your IACV....you need to clean it up....

Have you been driving alot with a low fuel level? I've heard that when your fuel level is low air can get sucked in instead of gas causing air pockets that end up causing fuel cut or fuel surge. They sell surge tanks to help prevent this but as far as getting the air pockets out i have no idea.

Everything seemed ok on the scan tool... A friend said check for a vacuum leak, but I'll check the IAC too...
