Super fun new noise my car is making

When I go over bumps, I hear a clunking noise in the back. Sounds like a broken motor mount, but it's coming from the rear wheel area. WTF is it? Lol. I just put in my RSB the other day, could it not be tight enough? It's very irritating and I want it gone. Thanks!

I would start with the rsb since that was the last area worked on. maybe you didnt tighten one of the bolts or something.

I replaced the endlinks. =/ I got under it and tried to shake it all around and that thing was on there rock solid, like rocking the car back and forth a couple inches.

not being a smart ass:

Make sure they weren't put on upside down (or backwards, whatever you want to call it).

You won't be able to duplicate the noise by rocking it by hand...you can't put the same amount of pressure on the sway as the car can going into turns/bumps and whatnot.

re-tighten everything.

it only makes sense, since you were last working on the RSB.

To go even further....it's probably the mount side of the end link that's not tight. I bet the RSB side is just fine.

Same thing happened to me not 2 months ago.

What mount Crabby McGee? The RSB bushing clamp/mounts or the actual lower suspension "mount". I refer to the latter.

If you didn't put in the RSB bushing mounts tight enough then I would be afraid.

This happened on my other car. Either the springs broke off/just came off, one of the parking brake shoes was hanging & would clunk against the rotor when ever going over a bump.

Did you lube your RSB bushings before clamping them down?

can you please post the solution? i have had the same issue for a while and can't pin point the problem. i took it in to a suspension shop and even they couldn't find anything wrong. they said the struts might need replacing.

Went under there over the weekend, and OMG the nuts were so loose I could hand spin em. So I put an ungodly amount of Loctite on there and tightened them with a breaker bar. :P No noise now!!
