So ive come across something strange that im not sure is normal or a problem, as this is my first stickshift car. During one of the first few spirited drivings ive tried with my car i attempted to shift into second but the car bounced off the rev limiter (keep in mind my foot is off the clutch fully at this point and my car is definatley not going fast enough to actually be rev limited). is my clutch slipping or do i suck at driving still? And i did smell burning clutch smell, at least thats what i think it was, ive smelled that only twice before when i did something similar trying to go into first quickly.

Also note: i didnt attempt any more fast driving like this until i get some answers here.

took it to acura to get it checked on, transmission is fine according to them i just need to learn to drive, lol, i suppose this is good news, you dont learn stick in a week
