AEM Cold Air Intake Cause Shifting Problems?

I really have no idea is this was happening before or after I installed my CAI. I might just have been looking for a problem after I installed it but I am not sure. It seems now when I am driving there is a little jolt between gears. I can feel the car shifting and feel like it was smoother prior to the CAI. Is this caused by my intake or maybe a transmission problem?

Also, I know the CAI whistle but has anyone used a different filter that cuts down on it a little?

That sounds more like a transmission problem. Perhaps try driving the car without the CAI and see if the problem persists.

When I first read the title I thought you were having issues with the linkage of the shifter hitting the CAI...I would just make sure there is enough clearance and CAI is not making contact when you shift, I'm going by memory but on either my RSX-S or the TL, I'm not sure which but I had to remove the CAI and move it some to clear the links....hope it works...
