Stock HID's not working help!!!!!!

ok so the other day i noticed my passenger light was purple and the driver side was the original factory blue. i took it to the acura dealer and they told me its the bulb or it can be the ballast. they gave me a price for 200 for the bulb and 700 for the ballast is there anywhere i can get a better price or another way to fix this problem?

Switch ballasts on both sides and see if the side currently not working turns on or not.
If it doesnt, it's your bulb. If it does, its your ballast

That's a sign that the bulb is on it's way out. If you know how to switch out the hids or have a buddy that knows how to, that will save you some money. Check out the black market, I have a brand new set of 5000k HIDS that I never gotten around to install currently up for sale .

the best thing to do is replace bulbs in pairs so their colors match properly. Plus you'll notice a big difference in light output b/w an old and new bulb.

4300K is the stock light color; The best bulbs on the market right now are the D2S OSRAM CBI 5000K bulbs and the 81522+ Philips D2S Bulbs.

There's plenty of sites out there that have those bulbs for sale. You might as well get the pair. The other one will go out soon and save the trouble if you're having someone help you replace it and do it all at once. Good luck
