Sticky clutch solution
Hello everyone, I recently purchased a 2008 TL Type S 6 speed with about 140,000km. Like a few others, I have been experiencing a sticky clutch problem. Previous owner had replaced the clutch and flywheel about 10,000km ago. After buying the car a day later it was leaking clutch fluid, and it ended up being the master cylinder. Anyways got an OEM one put in and no more leaking. This however did not solve the sticky clutch. I've been through every thread on acurazine looking for a solution, lots of users suggested it could be a bad slave, or even an issue with the clutch. So I went ahead and replaced the slave cylinder as well, and it made no difference. I took my car to a honda tech that a friend suggested over the weekend, and he diagnosed my problem right away. He said it was a bad clutch hose. After putting in a new clutch hose, he bled the clutch fluid, and just like that, my clutch feels brand new.
In short, if you have a sticky clutch, check your clutch hose first as it's one of the cheaper options before the slave and master.
Anyways I hope this helps anyone experiencing this issue. If you have any questions feel free to message me.
Thanks and have a great day!

Mine was always sticking through all the gears. Some days it was only for a second, some days were a bit longer. My theory is the clutch hose is what caused the first master cylinder to go bad and start leaking with built up pressure from the fluid not being able to be consistent.

Did you see the hose and exactly why it was bad? The majority of the line is metal and a small U shaped rubber hose near the brake booster. I have a feeling you just had air in the system after the master change.

Yeah I have the old hose, can't really see inside it since the line is so thin, but I've had the clutch fluid bled twice after the master cylinder was replaced so I'm sure it wasn't air in the system. If I would pump the clutch after 7-8 times it was get stiff and wouldn't go in. After waiting a few seconds it would go back to the one second delay.
