Steering wheel whining/grinding?

I own an acura tl 2008 3.2 engine.
Everytime i go on low speed (5-10) it starts making noise and it's also very hard to turn when I'm parking, for instance.
I've been told it could be the steering wheel pump but I'm not sure. If that could be, what would i need to replace?

Check your power steering fluid.

did you use honda power steering fluid? Grinding noise could be the pump or the rack and pinion, only a thorough inspection can figure that out.

Did you refill because it leaked out? If so, find the source of the leak and fix it.

this may be as simple as the O-Ring issue I've been reading about today... I'm having the exact same problem you are, and I've been looking the internet the last hour or so.
