Steering wheel buttons not lighting

My volume button on the left side of the steering wheel is not lighting up at night. Does anyone know if this could be a bad bulb or a wiring issue? My dealer says warranty covers wiring, but not dead bulbs (don't want to get charged for them looking at it).

it's a bulb, all the lights in the steering wheel use the same wire, so unless every button is out, it's a dead bulb

the amount of time and effort to remove the bulbs, and do it yourself it's worth bringing it to the dealership ever it if was under warranty
