Steering Noise..Please help

So I made a thread a few weeks about about this. Many said it was the O ring. I bought a new one and replaced it yesterday, but the sound is still there. Now what are the odds its making the noise due to low fluid? mine is at the lower level line..could this be it? I also know there is a second O ring that could cause it.

1) Did you add PS fluid after changing the O-ring? If you did, you have a leak. Then determine if your TL had the high-pressure PS hose recall performed-- use the Acura owner website or call a dealership with the VIN on Monday. If the recall wasn't performed, schedule the work with the dealership to have all free recall work (wiper motor, etc.) done.
Look for the source of the leak to make sure it's not something other than the high-pressure PS hose subject to the recall.

2) If you didn't add PS fluid, add some and purge the air from the PS system by driving the car for normally for another 3 days or so. If the noise stops, you changed the correct O-ring (which I assume is the low-pressure hose O-ring, which is also supposed to be changed in the PS hose recall work).

I didn't add fluid to it, as i was planning on changing out the fluid on my next free day, but wanted to see which i should do as a next step. I know there is also an oil pump o-ring which is simple to replace. Ok i will drive around a few more days and see if it fixes. thanks

I think you are on the right track with replacing the two O rings. The old ones are black and the new ones should be orange. And its important to replace both of them.

Well...this is what i expected, but the First o-ring i replaced was still orange, it did look a bit smaller in diameter, but it wasn't black which i found odd as everyone and every video of replacement shows or mentions them as being black and being a lot diff in size.

The original O-ring was black; the replacement is orange/red.
Either a prior owner had that O-ring changed or the PS hose recall work was already done on your TL (the new PS hose has a sleeve/wrap over it).

FWIW, a couple of posters on AZ had the orange O-rings go bad; replacement with a new one eliminated the squealing & groaning from the PS.
Most of us had to change out the black O-ring ourselves-- a lot of dealerships forgot to change the O-ring on the low side after changing the high pressure hose.
