Static noise when playing CD's

2006 AT TL

I have been having a problem lately with static as I play CD's in the car. There is static and seems like the CD is about to skip all the time. Some tick sound keeps coming.. I was wondering if anyone else has had or is having a similar problem.

Could anyone please advise me as to how you think I should go about fixing it?

yes I just noticed the same thing this morning but the weather was very cold and I think it definitely has something to do with the warm up because after the car warmed up no more static CD sound !
