Starter Motor woes
Hey all. Ok, so this is my third starter motor and I'm starting to believe the problem is with me. The starter I purchased is this one:
When I go to put it in, the screws aren't quite lining up with the holes and the housing, right as it mates with the other side, seems to be just a tad too wide. Can anyone confirm this is the right starter? My TL is an '05 6MT with VIN 19UUA655X5A309364.

You bought BBB Industries 17728. That part number is for auto transmission.
You'll need to return it and get the manual transmission one: BBB Industries 17899
