Squeaking from drivers side wheel...

Hello All - No major problems after 2000 miles on a 05 auto. I really love this car, especially the great gas mileage after my last car. I hope everyone else is enjoying the car much as I am.

One thing I noticed is a squeak coming from the drivers side wheel. I first noticed it after parking the car in my garage and closing the door. When the door close shut, the front wheel was squeeking like a mouse. I can kick the front tire or shake the car and it would squeek. I park in a garage a work so I rolled my window down to see if I can hear it. Sure enough, the same wheel squeeks when I am going around the garage. I don't think its the brakes since it doesn't make a difference if I apply the brakes or not. With the car parked with engine off, I can duplicate the squeek by shaking the car or the wheel. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mine squeaks, when you apply brakes in very low speed. And it started coming after i washed the car after i bought it. So i assume its brake dust.

In your case i am afraid its the suspension. Since you get the sound just by shaking your car.

I have the same problem as the OP. This is the only thread I can find with the same problem even though it's old. Anyone know what the cause might be?
