Bought the oil cap used for a pretty cheap price, so I'm not even sure if it's legitimate or not. However, the gasket on the cap broke and O'Reilly's couldn't find one that matched it... Anyone have suggestions on where to get a replacement gasket?
Assuming the threads are correct (basically all hondas/acuras are), you could more than likely pick up a cheap off the shelf oil cap for the car you are putting it on and then just steal the gasket off of it. Or use the one off of your car currently, then there is the option of buying an OEM one Part # 15613-PC6-000. However I have no way of knowing if that will for sure fit correctly.
Really you only need the gasket to seal where the cap and valve cover meet, anything that is larger in diameter than that isn't really doing anything to help it seal.

buy a generic gasket with the same inner and outer diameters! Remove old gasket and install new gasket. Be sure it's rated for auto use and for use under pressure.
I once had a $50 Greddy oil cap, then the Greddy badge just fell off and I found cheap behind. Then it looked like just another cheap aftermarket oil cap.
