A-spec Type S rear bumper

I have the A-Spec kit for the type s TL

...my problem is the rear bumper for the kit has an opening in it. Should there be a piece to go in that opening? If not what can I get to put in the opening?

What car are you trying to put it on? '04-06 base, 07+ Type S, 07+ Base, etc?

You're trying to put an A-Spec Type-S rear lip on your 06 TL?
Or you bought a Type-S bumper for your 06?
Or maybe both?

There is no A-Spec bumper.
You also say "the rear bumper for the kit". The A-Spec kit doesn't include a rear bumper...
