I would think they'd have to pay for it.

File a claim. Then find a good upholstery shop or go to the dealership.

Welcome to Hotlanta haha

File a claim, and talk to internal

Did they think you were trafficking?? If so why not use a dog to sniff around?

You could DIY, they have kits on amazon, but it looks ghetto..

Best thing would be get them repaired, look at a junk yard, or ebay

If your car came back clean from a search file a complaint and they should pay for their error. If the car didn't come back clean, then well you have bigger things to worry about

In any case it really depends on the size of the rip. if it's ripped all the way through and its a long cut then then it would be worth it to replace the little stitched section of leather with a new one. If it's a smaller cut that's less than 2-3 inches then it might be easier just to patch it from the underside at an upholstery shop

I cant file a claim.. but hopefully with the lawyers help i can get some money back on it.. he said they didnt have no right to search my car.. but any who... its two big slits maybe about 2 -3 inches long and down to the padding before the seat warmers .. so i guess upholstery shop is my best option..... ill put a pic up soon..

I have the same problem its a V-shaped cut on bottom half of my seats i was thinking about just taking a piece duct tape and putting it on underneath the cut. I feel like if i took it to the dealer ship theyd make me pay a lot. any cheaper alternatives like that leather patch kit?
