hi everyone i’m new here. i have an 06 TL. i was removing the spark plugs for replacement and the plug in cylinder 4 came out a little too easy as if it wasn’t threaded in? tried putting the new one and the cylinder just wouldn’t catch the threads. eventually it sort of did so i drove a couple miles to my dads then the car started jerking and was smoking a bit. got there we popped the hood and that plug popped out. had to replace the ignition coil and get another plug and we found out it was stripped. my dad says we’re gonna have to get it rethreaded at a shop, then add a new plug. has this happened to anyone? after we open it up, what gaskets you guys recommend i replace? he said aftermarket ones tend to leak on acuras?
