Spark Plug Issue

Hey all,

I decided to take a look at my spark plugs for the first time since I got the car today, and when I pulled one out, this is what I found:

(sorry, iPhone 4 pics)

So, obviously I plan on changing them out in the near future. The front three seem to be easy enough, they're easily accessible. The back three, on the other hand, I don't know....Any tips or tricks to getting them out? I've never done spark plugs on a sideways mounted engine; I had only done them on my old Acura Legend which was mounted as if it should be rear wheel drive...All the spark plugs were easily accessible.

Throwback to my old baby:

Thanks!

If the strut tower bar is removed, is there enough room for a Escher with appropriate extension? It just didn't seem that way to me web I looked.... But I'm probably wrong lol

Really hard to tell anything for sure from those photos. What is the gap at? What do you think is wrong with the plug/s? How many miles on the plugs? Are they OEM plugs?

Do a search. There are plenty of threads on how to change the plugs. I'd remove the tower strut bar.

Remove the tower strut bar and you won't run into any problems.

Just gotta play around with angles =P

Sorry, couldnt get any better pics because the iphone's camera isn't that great even with focusing.

I'm not sure what the gap is at...they just looked old to me, and I don't have any records from the previous owner changing them, so I'm assuming they're original. I have most of the other reciepts including Tb/wp and various fluid changes..but nothing on the plugs. They're probably original.

The one in the back passenger side is toughest.

A rig like nfnsquared posted is the way to go after the ones in the rear.

Its very easy like everyone said once the strut bar is off. The plugs dont look to bad at all. I changed mine at 70k.
