sorry to ask

hey guys and girls, last night on the highway while coming back from the casino i noticed my first rattle.. and, it was annoying the hell out of me... my friend in the back helped me to isolate it and we concluded that it was coming from the third break light.... anybody know a quick solution to fix this... or should i bring it back to the dealer.... i just got my windows tinted 2 days ago but i don't think that should have anything to do with it... thak you for helping me out....

Since they have to remove the cover to put the tint on the rear window, it was probably something the tint installer did. Check back with them and ask if they can fix it, or if it is more convenient to go to the dealer, check with him, but he might ask about the tint and who did it.

Ron. are far as i saw, they didn't have to remove the third break light... the tint was laser cut and it is in one piece... i watched him do the entire job,,, only took them 45 mins to tint it... they slid the tint in place.. i am thinking that when they squeegied (spell check) the glass they may have bumped into the light... i feel that when and if i take it back to the dealer they are going to give me a hard time about the tint... im just wondering if there was any solution that anyone has tried so i don't get the run around by the dealer.

Tell the dealer you have had the tint for a while, and that the rattle is new!!

Here's a scan on removing the cover, if you want to try it for yourself and see if you can eliminate the rattle. Just be sure to pull straight down so you don't break a clip.
