Someone stole my side marker harness connectors?

So I went to the local tire place close to my house to get Virginia's yearly inspection done (sigh..don't get me started...anyway..) and the place failed me because my sidemarker lights did not light up.

I understand that they are lights on the car and therefore should "light up". But they serve no real purpose that isn't taken care of by the actual blinkers and parking lights.

So, I digress...I get the car home and I pop the front side makers off and notice that there is no harness connected to either fronts (haven't even checked the back yet).

So it looks just like someone popped my markers off and snipped the connector right off the damn harness. This is the 2nd yearly inspection I've had done. So either they didn't notice the first year (inspection done at the dealer for free) of they were working and someone came and stole my connectors to splice into their older model TL or something.

I'm not sure what I should do. Do they make connectors that I could splice back on, or would I have to buy a whole new harness? Also there is NO SLACK to pull it further out so I'm going to have to take the fender well out to access it better.

Sorry so long...just kind of upset. Any input would be helpful. Thank you!

At least you answered my question? I wouldn't have asked the forum if I found them on that site or even a google search.

"Do they make connectors that I could splice back on, or would I have to buy a whole new harness?"

Or you can save some money and just solder some wires to the sidemarker. Very easy for an electrician.

Yeah, I've got a soldering iron, but I was just wondering if they make the clip that will make it much cleaner. Aftermarket or OEM.

wow, that's crazy. people will steal anything.

this part # is from another thread where someone was looking for connector to put type s sidemarkers on a 04-06. Unfortunately all it says is connector and doesn't show a pic.

you could go to the nearest dealer and see if they have it and if it will work. If not, I'm sure the dealer could give you the correct part #.

Thank you very much. That helped a lot.

For anyone referencing this, the connectors do not come with the wires, the wires are part no. 04320-SP0-A00

They do make some extra slim butt connectors that might fit them, but it would be hard to find em. I think the easiest thing to do would be to just solder the wires directly to the pins in the connector. You wont have to worry about someone stealing you connectors this way...

This got me thinking- is there a good way to secure the sidemarkers in thier spots? Because one of mine pops out when I spray the car washer nozzle at it, and the other three are kinda loose also... any suggestions?
