Slow navigation TL-S

Anyone notice their navigation start screen (blue acura screen) takes significantly longer after car ownership?

Before if I turn the car on and put it in reverse, the rear view camera starts almost right away. Now it takes a good 30 seconds before the Acura screen goes away for the rear view camera to start or to change to audio.

I hope I'm not the only one and if there is a fix (lol defrag the navi?).

hehe drag? More like reformat.

Yea mine is kind of slow too but it doesn't take 30 seconds. Maybe 8 seconds. The only thing that annoys me is that stupid warning/disclaimer message. 30 seconds does sound sort of slow.

Spiike, this is a common problem with the navi systems.... all you need to do is take it out, mail it to me, and I'll send you the XM 6 disc changer (non-navi) back and your problem should be fixed!

I have had 2 TLs and a TL-S on the way, the 07 TL had camera and it takes forever to boot up, I can start car and get most of the way backed out of the garage before the cmaera engages, it was like 10+ seconds. I asusme the camera needs the navi to boot before it works, which sucks so I assume it is reading the DVD stuff. If yours is that long maybe something is wrong with the DVD or he DVD Reader?

It is slow..... I need remote start!

The Navi needs to boot before the camera or bluetooth HFL can work. It really is only like 10 seconds.... but it always seems like forever.
