Slight vibration in the steering wheel

could it be Tire balancing issue or maybe even an alignment? Since i havent done one of them for a while now....

I notice it more at highway speeds not so much locally

I've noticed my steering wheel vibrating a tad bit at highway speeds lately. I'm thinking I'm due for an alignment anyway as my car pulls to the left just barely.

Balancing and if the tires exhibit even wear across the tread, forget about the alignment. If uneven wear or feathered edge, get the alignment and balancing.

An alignment wont help with your vibration. That will help with even wear. Vibrations are typically a balance issue. What most people do realize is that you may just of debris stuck to your wheels that makes them unbalanced. However if you havent had your tires rotated in a while, "feathering" may have occured and no matter how much balancing a tire you do, it won't fix it. Run your had across the whole tread of the tire, if it's not even ALL the way across, that's whats happened. Rule of thumb, if you feel the vibration it in the steering wheel, it's your fronts, if you feel it in the seat, it's your rears. Good luck
