Signs of a bad transmission?
I have a 2005 5AT with 91,500 miles. So when I put my car from P to D, it usually takes about a second or two for it to actually change into gear, and I can kinda feel it when it goes into D. The same thing when I go from D to R or vice versa. There is about a second or 2 delay for the gears go get into place, does this mean my transmission is showing signs of damage?
I havnt seen my RPM's slip at all when I drive, I mean when it shifts it may be a little rough, but that's what most people say of our 3G's. I really have nothing to compare it to since I've never drove another 3G TL before..
I am a bit scared though because my previous 98 Honda Civic did a similar thing, except when you shifted from P to D it was a much longer delay, and that tranny was definitely toast for sure.
Is there any solution to fix this? What do you guys think is the problem? Will ATF change do anything?

I hope it is nothing serious turbonut! I have driven other cars before, and none of my friends cars take as long to shift from P to D or to R like my TL. It feels like the lag is affecting the transmission somehow. =(

I just recently had the 5AT replaced on my 06, it just decided to crap out at 56,000 miles....but my brand new trans does that delay thing but only going into R it kicks into D ok

The best thing you can do is read up on the transmission threads specifically the pressure switches and the racing fluid.
They won't help the delay but they will greatly extend the life of the trans.
