Recently while on the highway a stone hit my left side view mirror turn signal and cracked right through the plastic. I ordered a replacement part but I can't figure out how to replace it. Does anyone know how to? Thanks in advance!

 

There is a small torx bolt from the inside of the mirror. You need to remove the glass to access it.

 

How do you get the actual mirror separated from the actuator? I have looked in the service manual and it references two sets of tabs that lock the glass to the actuator. However, I can't seem to find it with my screw driver. Does anyone have pictures of the back of the mirror glass and the side view mirror with the glass removed?
