Side Engine Mount Bracket Part #?

Noticed the engine mount flopping around and found that both the bolts had sheared off. No clue how or why. Ive searched around here and other places and cant find it anywhere. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This is for a 2008 TL-S w/ 6MT. Put in your VIN/year and trim and go to the "Engine Mounts" section to find the part number. If one of them is in that bad of shape, you might also consider replacing all of them.

Also, we have vendors here that offer aftermarket engine mounts.

Marcus is running a sale right now: https://www.heeltoeauto.com/innovati...ua7-10750.html

The bracket is 50620-SDB-A00 (#5 below), but that's just the part that's missing in your pictures that goes between the engine and the mount. Not sure what that part number is in your picture. I'll keep digging.

Found it. Look in the Cylinder Block - Oil Pan diagram and it's item 5.

part number for my particular car is 11910-RCA-A00. should be the same for you but double check it with your vin.

Oops, I misunderstood the problem. I can't see the images at work because that site is blocked.

hey guys.

i have to replace this same bracket. my bolts are fine but the bracket threads stripped out. really strange. does anybody know if there were any other parts affected that caused this or was it just isolated to the bracket. i would love some info on how the repair went. any help is appreciated. thanks.

wow!
you guise should look at your other mounts.

if the side mount is tearing out like that, that means your front mount is probably destroyed and ALLOWING the engine to move so much that its ripping the threads out of the side mount

i looked at the other mounts and nothing seems wrong. i removed the pass side mount completely because the arm connecting it to the bracket on the block was leaning against the top pulley. once removed, i ran the engine, revved it and there is no excessive movement. there was never any clunking or evidence that there was a problem prior to the two bolts letting go. the only reason i noticed the problem was because upon starting, there was a loud metallic sound so i cut the engine off right away. the sound turned out to be the top pulley contacting the top arm connected to the engine mount. even the mount does not show signs of excessive wear. its really weird. i will be taking it to have my mechanic check everything out in detail.

replaced the bracket. no other parts were involved. only likely story is that honda tech made a mistake when reassembling after timing chain replacement back in Feruary.

Not to raise this from the dead.... but I just discovered my bracket is stripped out also. Do you have to remove the timing covers and the crank pulley to do this? Dealer wants $1200 to do it. complete rip off!!

The only time i've see this before the car hit a parking block with the exhaust. the impact broke off those same 2 bolts. very strange.

Sorry to revive this old thread, but It seems I have the same problem as the OP. Engine mount bracket threads are going bad. Have any of you DIY'ers replaced the bracket mentioned above and was it difficult to replace? Seems the bracket goes over the water pump.

Instead of replacing the bracket, do you think a helicoil thread repair would work? (Part number is 11910-rca-a00)

Ended up repairing the threads with Heli-Coils (M10 x 1.25mm pitch). I will revisit the thought of replacing the bracket during the next timing belt service, if I keep the car that long.
