Shudder going into 3rd gear in 05 6MT

I tried searching for "shudder" and the only threads (and there are actually tons) that come up are related to 5AT TLs.

I just got my 05 TL last week (with 33k miles) and I just started noticing today that when I shift into 3rd, the engine bay shakes, and on one occasion the whole car shook.

Has anyone else with a 6MT experience this? and if so, how did you fix it? Thanks guys!

If it's a shudder, you might need to replace your motor mounts.

If you have trouble engaging 3rd gear (it's hard to shift into 3rd), then you might need to go to the stealership and get your 3rd gear synchro's replaced (this service is provided for free).

Is this occurring when shifting normally or aggressively?

it appeared to happen between 2500-3500 rpm shifts.... so not really aggressively. It's a CPO still under warranty, so if it's still happening after a couple of days, I'll take it to the dealer.

After driving it around a few days, I'm thinking it's the issues noted here:

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/3rd-gear-tsb-637454/

I've noticed that 3rd gear does pop out once in awhile if I don't push it into gear with a little extra force.

I'll have to go to my local Acura dealer to see if the TSB has been performed.

Took mine to the Acura dealer and flashed the TSB 08-018 in their face. They wanted to replace the trans fluid with a new type. Told them it was changed 2 months ago. They drove around in the morning, when it was cold out, and duplicated the issue. They are working on it now under warranty. So yeah make sure you tell them that you know of this tsb to eliminate any possibility of them messing with you.

Yup. I printed out the TSB and told them that they need to test drive it for more than a little while since it isn't happening consistently. The funny part really is that the service guy was surprised I had the actual TSB. He was like "most people, if they have anything, have a little note of what the TSB number is, not the whole thing that only service technicians should have!"

At any rate, they're keeping it for a day or two to test drive it. I'll let ya guys know what they say.
