Hello, new member here!

I purchased a used 04TL w/navi AT recently and noticed the light within the shift console would only sometimes come on, sometimes stay off, flicker, and/or come on after I knock on top of the actual shift plate. Is this an easy fix or should I just take it in to the Acura dealership under warranty?

(Please note that this is the actual light that lights up the shift letters from below that i am talking about and not the glowing led from above....)

If its under warrantee....take it to the dealer.....your entitled!

 

Welcome to the board! I have an '04 and don't have this problem. I haven't heard about anyone on the board having this problem before, but it seems like an easy fix at the dealer.

Moving to "problems and fixes"....so when you report back after your dealer visit, you can post the dealer's solution.
