That's about the right range for a SoCal independent shop to do the work, including resurfacing.

Epic BUMP.

I am experiencing this problem. I can feel my car shaking a little bit but only when I am breaking at high speeds, mainly on the freeway.

About 10k miles ago I replaced the front pads and rotors (did not replace the rear pads/rotors) and bled the brake system. About 1000 miles ago I got my tires rotated and an alignment. Any idea what could be causing this?

It sounds like slightly warped rotors.
If that's the cause, it's fixed by cutting/machining/turning/resurfacing the front rotors, resurfacing/machining the pads and using a torque wrench to tighten the bolts and lug nuts.
