Service engine soon...

My mom just called me on the phone and she said her car says service engine soon A1...

I changed the oil for her about a month ago and did not reset the computer...

Is that what this warning is?

I dont have the manual on me to look it up... And she is kinda worried.

Thanks!

I think that is just an oil change.
Why not reset the thing when you change the oil?

Check your oil quality meter in the cluster, if it has reached a specific percentage then it will tell you a service is due. To reset, hold the reset button while you have the oil percentage displayed for roughly 10 seconds until it asks you if you are sure you want to reset. now repress the button for a few more seconds until the counter resets.
