I have looked at similar threads and still cant figure this out. '04 with Navi.......MID is set to beep.....all doors lock and unlock fine.......hood and trunk are both shut......all fuses look okay. I even unhooked the hood switch to see if that would make a difference, but still no beep, light flash or driver door security lock flashing red LED. Anyone know exactly which fuses to check? Any other suggestions?

Check the battery in the remote first.

 

Double check the hood and trunk. It happened to me, I adjusted my headlights one night and it was slightly open the day after, kept it from flashing and beeping also.

 

Bump............C'mon guys........there has got to be some additional info/suggestions. The battery is new and I am sure the hood and trunk are closed. I do notice a whirring sound sometimes from the driver side rear lock, but it always locks/unlocks fine...........HELP!!!!

 

My TL did this when my driver door lock actuator went out.

 

just because it locks and unlocks doesn't mean the sensor inside them isn't bad. I would start with the one making noise. common problem in TL's.
