Seafoam. How much is too much?
I have an 04 TL with approxitmately 62k miles. Did the Seafoam through the vac line yesterday. A significant amount of bluish white smoke came from the tailpipe. I added 1/4 of some of the Seafoam to the gas tank and the rest in the vac line. Should I add anymore in the vac line to insure a thorough cleaning? The car had never been Seafoamed in the past.

You are good on the intake manifold for now- in 2000 miles repeat the procedure then you should be set for a year
On the gas tank- add 1 can 8 ounces to 1/4 tank 4 gallons on gas
You are looking for 2oz product to 1 oz gas for super injector cleaning strength
Did you check out the DIYs for complete instructions on preheating engine and the blowout drive afterwards
Smoke is normal and not an indicator of crud amount

confirm you used the new vac port located right on top of the intake manifold- its the correct one. Others do not feed all 6 cyls- while this one is on top of the manifold just past the TB assembly/connection
