Today I was driving along and the check engine light came on, the VSX light, and the triangle with an exclamation point lights came on. I didn't have any acceleration. I pulled over turned off the car, turned it back on and was able to drive back home.
I got the p2101 code. And proceeded to clean the intake as mentioned in another thread with deep creep and seafoam.
I noticed that when I turn on the ignition that my butterfly valve doesn't open, it looks like it tries to move bot doesn't. I am able to push the gas pedal and it will open completely. Is this normal?

Do you know what else I should do? I am about to drive around again after doing the seafoam.

 

P2101: "Throttle Actuator System Malfunction"

The troubleshooting process likes the cleanin of the throttle body, but calls for smooth operation of the valve after cleaning. Can't answer the position question properly, but on start the mixture should be rich, which would call for limited air flow. This would suggest the throttle valve should be closed and then open normally with gas application.
