Screech/metal sound when in reverse and turning the wheel

this past weekend i installed adjustable upper ball joints up front and took off my brembo calipers to repaint them. i installed everything back and tightened everything down. i bled the calipers so no air is in the system. braking is normal.

i am experiencing a screeching/metal sound from the drivers side front wheel whenever i am in reverse, turning the wheel backing into a parking spot. the video below shows the sound i'm talking about in the first few seconds of the video. turn up your sound or you'll miss it. it only happens in reverse when turning the wheel and it only happens for a second.

any ideas? something not torqued down? shims replaced properly? pad pins secure? brake dust shield loose?

Sounds like something must be turning at a pretty good rpm to make that sound. If it were the backing plate/brakes, in my opinion it wouldn't sound like a bench grinder in action. Guess you'd better get down near the area and listen closely even with the hood opened. From years ago, reminds me of a flywheel hitting the metal dust shield.

thanks for the reply, turbo.

i'm going to take off the wheel tomorrow and see if i can reproduce the sound.

i tried about 5 times yesterday to hear the sound, and it never happened while in reverse turning the wheel like before.
