i did my car in 20% all around and 50% on the windsheild days after i bought it now i redid it and switched the 20% for 10% looks a sweet and since the rubber gaskets scratched up my 20% i fixxed the problem and put in felt on them common problem with tl tsx accoords civics etc

If you're saying that you put the felt lining inside the window sill, then yes, this is a well-documented problem with our cars.

yes moleskin is needed in our cars... I too fell ILL to the demon that we call SCRATCHED TINT.... AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH

 

so it is true...LOL! and here I thought the TINT SHOP tech was feeding me BS when he said that about the listed models...Welp! looks like I better go do it...I ended up walking away and not getting mine redone since my recent ownership...I want them DARKER!

 

ok...here's the verdict... 5% SUNTEK film... a strip of felt laid straight across the OEM rubber weather strip that is known to either be to rough or build dirt that scratches the film... FIXED... Looks KILLER! and have rolled down the windows repeatedly...Film FLAWLESS! Stripped and re-tinted with felt installed....ALL FOR ONLY $200.00 Yay!
