This is probably not related, but I went to the carwash after work last night and got out of the car to get chang. I came back to get my gloves from the trunk. I tried to release the trunk remotely several times and had no luck. At this point, I tried to lock and unlock the doors as well, no luck either. The lights wouldn't even blink! I use the key to manually open the door. I then tried to start the car, but it wouldn't start. I was thinking, sh_t!!! I then look down to see if the car was in park, which it was. I don't know why, but I deceide to wiggle the shift knob. Guess what? It started and all the lights came back on. Maybe something is loose or not making contact. I hope it never happens again. Sorry about the lenghty reply. Thanks for updating us on the recall.
